Baran (Persian: باران) is a 2001 Iranian film directed by Majid Majidi, The movie is set during recent times in which there are a large number of Afghan refugees living on the outskirts of Tehran. Almost a silent movie, Baran won a number of awards both nationally and internationally for the director and writer Majid Majidi. The movie is about maturing of the character Lateef and his silent romantic interests in an Afghan refugee, Baran, in the construction site where he works. Baran's father is injured at work and so she disguises as a boy in order to work.

Recommended Film of the Week

I saw this movie about a month ago at the Israeli film festival. Two brothers that everything drives apart, except for the fact they are both Jewish, meet again in Israel after years of silence. Dan chooses to work on the land, living in a kibbutz in the south of Israel. Aaron is a doctor of law and philosophy and a distinguished scholar of the Torah, who comes to Jerusalem to defend the rights of Torah students.

I love this shirt.

This is the Sateen short sleeve buckle shirt. I love this shirt so much I bought it in Coral, Purple and Black and White. I had to re purchase another black shirt because I cannot find it. I beleive it was lost in the laundry. SOOOOOO upset. I went to 125th street. NADA, I went 34th street, nada and I even went on line. ....nada. I wrote to Lane Bryant and I told them to bring it back!!!!!!!!!!11 And they did. :)
