Holidays or Holydays?

Does it matter which days we observe?

Well, in my opinion I believe that if you are going to celebrate something, know its roots and history. Don't celebrate what you dont know or think you know for the sake of tradition. The truth and it shall set you free.

During the years of Yeshua's (Jesus)apostles in the first century , the early Christians had no knowlegde of Christmas as we know it. According to the Encyclopedia Britannica states: "the first Christians continued to obesrve the Jewish festivals, through in a new spirit, as commemorations of events which those festivals forshadowed" (Vol 8 p 828)

Jesus Christ was NOT born on December 25. But December 25th can be traced back to Genesis and a man named Nimrod. "Nimrod was a great grandson of Noah. Nimrod was the founder of a great false religious system that began inancient Babylon that has always opposed the truths.
Nimrod married his own mother, whose name was Semiramis and after his death, his so-called mother-wife, Semiramis, propagated the evil doctrine of the survival
of Nimrod as a spirit being. She claimed a full-grown evergreen tree sprang overnight from a dead tree stump, which symbolized the springing forth unto new life
of the dead Nimrod. On each anniversary of his birth, she claimed, Nimrod would visit the evergreen tree and leave gifts upon it. December 25th, was the birthday
of Nimrod. This is the real origin of the Christmas tree."

This world is deceived, just as God prophesied it would be (Rev. 12:9).
